If we spend our free time recovering, de-stressing or re-building our health from our work time, then is it really free time? Likewise if we bring our personal life to work can we really focus and produce the best work?

Workplace Well-being workshops, offer you a two hour carefully designed and combined meditation and yoga session. 

1) Pranayama - The Power of The Breath

This breathing exercise at the start opens the lungs and centres the mind, so the breath can be deeply carried through the yoga session activating each posture. Our breathing patterns carry a lot of information about us and how our body responds to certain situations. Taking control of our breathing, an unconscious act that we can consciously take control of helps us take control of our self, body & mind. 

2) Yoga Asanas - Stretch & Release.

Warm up sequences. Two styles of sun salutations. A flowing sequence, with twists great for releasing tension in the neck and shoulders as well as back strengthening exercises for our posture. Relaxation postures interwoven between the active stretches.

3) Meditation - Engage the Mind

Sitting with the legs crossed or kneeling with different meditation techniques introduced; including mudra (yoga posture just for the hands) and visualisations. Specifically introduced to aid creativity, showing the power of yoga not just for relaxation but for inspiration, answers and productivity through introspection and intention.

4) Savasana - Relaxation

You either love it or hate it, most love it. Savasana or Corpse pose, the last posture of a yoga class, lying flat on the floor, eyes closed, allowing the effects of the practice to fully integrate and time to enjoy the blissful feeling of deep relaxation. The eyes drop, the jaw releases, the whole nervous system calms. Enjoy and surrender to the satisfaction and security from the feeling of completion.

Morning Session: A great motivator and energiser for the day.

Lunchtime Power- up: Reboot, creativity and productivity.

Afternoon Workshop: Full holistic Experience, Yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

Evening Session: Clear the residues of the day, building strength for tomorrow and relaxation for now.

Location:

Ideally this session would be held in your businesses premises, in a board/meeting room where we can remove the tables and chairs or simply push them to the side.

If this is not an option, we can hire suitable local venues at an additional cost.
