When yoga becomes dance, and dance becomes yoga we are merging inner peace and tranquility with outward expression of ourselves.
Beginning with a sacral chakra meditation we will connect to the flowing water energy within us calming our mind and body.
Warming the body up with a short yoga flow sequence we will gain strength and get to know our flexibility.
We will then transition to dance to compare the two and really feel the freedom dance gives us to move the body in so many ways.
Taking a short tea break there will be time to get to know others in the group and share our experience. We then merge the yoga and dance together with five InnerSense yoga dance moves to have a play with, putting them together in different orders, fitting them to the music.
The final section we will learn a short routine to the beginning of a song, to a beautiful chosen song, that we can all do in time together, followed by a cool down and relaxation.

When we see dance as art, an expression of our inner state it's the feeling cultivated inside to the music and the emotion expressed that's the most important part; the story we are sharing with ourselves and others with our bodily expression.
